Chapter #40: Intermission

Taking a break from writing my weekly blog post for volleyball and finally talking about something else...at least for a little bit and talk about what's up in the world of radio for the first half of the fall semester. Before I can do that I will do a little recap on the K-State volleyball team who done some great things already this season even though they just lost to Texas earlier this evening. Still got some things to work on, but they are right there in the mix for the Big 12 title race led by their best player junior Kaitlynn Pelger.

School with the combination of radio for The Wildcat 91.9 has been SUPER busy this semester. By far, the busiest semester since I been here at Kansas State it's been sometimes tiring but it's been fun. There are just a couple of issues outside of school that I need to take care of but other than that it's time to turn up heat a little bit here and work hard in pretty much everything weather it's in the classroom or not. Each day has it's challenges you just got to take it one day at a time. School is racking up quickly with a ton of big essays, reading, reading, and more reading. I feel like I have been reading over 100 books and we are only halfway, lol. Also, group projects...I have 3 of those not that I am complaining or anything like that but I'm at that stage where work is piling up and you just have to deal with it and try to do the best you can that's all you can ask for. Radio this semester has been fun once again! I feel blessed for this opportunity to work with a lot of awesome people. From hanging out with the staff people which I feel like are the best people that I can possibly have to other students at the station who have made their mark this year and helping them out as well. Enjoy the Purple Power Play earlier this semester getting prepared for the college football season for K-State. To hanging out with some of my favorite friends on staff Jen, Elijah and Caitlin. I have also spent some time with a few more people Krystal, Mike, Katie, Dan and more. This month is big and special for me in just a few weeks I have big weekend in store...more on that in the next blog post ahead.

Oklahoma Trip
Haha, 3 weeks ago I went down to Norman, Oklahoma with some of the sports staff and some of the sports staff from the Collegian as well. That was a fun trip with those and it had a little bit of everything in it. Lucky for all of us we got along really went. The trip down there had it's moments for sure guys been well you guys but K-State ended up knocking off #4 Oklahoma that weekend...oh and wee managed to park behind someone house after not evening getting a parking pass, lol. I was a little worried about that but at the end it didn't matter because we won the game. Got back to Manhattan between 5:30 and 6 in the morning, whoooo...

Until next time,
Eddie III (EG3)
